The sustained release tablets were formulated by using the combination of various retardant polymers/excipient. polymers used hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Micro Crystalline Cellulose and Sodium starch glycolate. present investigation involves formulation evaluation Valsartan with a view to prolong drug in gastrointestinal tract consequently into plasma. It showed good linearity reproducibility which also indicated analytical method study be suitable for estimation candidates different dissolution media. Evaluation parameters such as thickness diameter, weight variation content uniformity test. observation all above indicate that values are within IP specified limits. Thus, on basis our research findings it could concluded performance developed was found promising treatment hypertension.
